The first house in the new part of the village In the west of the village center, the village is being expanded in many construction phases over several years. And: the first building in the new part of the village is the crèche!
This public building therefore has an important, identity-creating task. To this end, the crèche has been given an unmistakable, independent design language that marks the village like a lighthouse and is firmly imprinted in the memory of (young) people. Even from a distance, the staircase with the trees planted on the roofs and the significant entrance portal attract everyone’s attention!
But that’s not all: the building also boasts a particularly sustainable construction method. It is constructed using solid bricks - without any additional thermal insulation. Ecological requirements were also taken into account in the rest of the design, and in an exemplary manner: The common rooms are oriented to the north so that overheating in summer can be minimized. Optimized cross-ventilation allows the building to be cooled sufficiently even on hot days. A heat pump with photovoltaic modules provides environmentally friendly heating for the building.
